SLOW DANCE signing and previous Nick Cave collaborator Martha Skye Murphy has revealed a haunting new composition. Focussing in on Skye Murphy's incredible vocals, 'Black Eye' achieves the goose-bump inducing intimacy of Kate Bush's iconic Hounds of Love album, backed almost entirely by sparse yet sustained piano parts. With the title hinting at themes of physical violence, Martha explains: “‘Black Eye is about folding in on yourself; relationships at night, the drunken slurs, the dysfunctional patterns that occur.
